How to Use it

  • Typical Dilution Rates

    • LM = Liquid Mulch

    • From 1 part water to 1 part LM to 3 parts water to 1 part LM

    • Always add water first

    • Mix thoroughly and until smooth

  • Typical Application Rates

    • Application rates are calculated based on concentrated LM not diluted values

    • From 0.5 Kg/sq m (0.9 lbs/sq yard) to 3.0 Kg/sq m (5.5 lbs/sq yard)

  • Water watering systems and hydro seeders to apply LM

  • Do not use herbicide spray systems

    • Herbicide spray systems will clog

Performance

  • Weed reduction

    • Unoversity of Guelph Study

    • Cornell University Study

About 90% Weed Control with Liquid Mulch at 1.5 Kg/sq m

About 90% Weed Control with Liquid Mulch at 1.5 Kg/sq m

  • Water Conservation

    • University of Guelph Study

About 30% of water is conserved with LM at 0.5 Kg/sq m

About 30% of water is conserved with LM at 0.5 Kg/sq m

  • Improved seed Germination

    • About 2% to 5% more seeds germinate likely due to water conservation in the soil
